Chandeliers are super popular and trendy right now they are used in all different types of rooms. It is not unusual to find chandeliers hanging in the bathroom now. Black chandeliers are a big part of the chandelier trend. They look stunning in most any room.

They are a hip way to light up a room. Making them is easy and finding them for purchase is even easier. There is something completely understated about these types of chandeliers that makes them wildly popular.

Why Black?

Most folks when they think of lighting they think of something bright and clear. They find it hard to think of black and a light going together but it does go together like hand and glove. You would be surprised pleasantly to see how elegant these chandeliers look. Black absorbs the light and then reflects it, giving a whole new lighting option to a room. They look very chic and the light that they omit is rather rosy looking.

Types

Many black chandeliers are manufactured to be black; some are spray painted after the fact. In either case there is a full range of possibilities. Just like conventional chandeliers, black chandeliers come either very ornate or very subtle. The choice is largely left up to the type of room it will be in and the over all look that is trying to be achieved in the room. For example a large hanging chandelier that has many arms and much dangling from it is probably not well suited for a small space you would want to showcase this type of chandelier in a large space where the chandelier would not over power the room. A smaller type with less design distractions would be well suited for a smaller space.

Bathrooms and Bedrooms

A favored place for the black chandeliers is in the bathroom or the bedroom. The lighting is perfect for these two rooms and the chandelier does offer a certain element of surprise to the room. You can easily make black chandeliers a focal point in any room, but in the bedroom and the bathroom they really pop to life.
